Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the My Edge mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using My Edge, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using My Edge, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. These Terms apply to all users of the Service.

My Edge is a developmental coaching and reflection platform. It is not a medical, mental health, or therapeutic service, and use of the Service does not create a clinician–patient or therapist–client relationship.

2. Nature of the Service

My Edge is designed to support awareness, reflection, and learning related to stress, challenge, recovery, and performance.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • My Edge is non-clinical and non-diagnostic

  • Insights, patterns, and AI-generated content are descriptive and reflective, not prescriptive

  • The Service does not provide medical, psychological, legal, or professional advice

  • You remain fully responsible for your decisions, actions, and well-being

3. User Responsibilities

By using My Edge, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current account information

  • Use the Service for personal reflection and development purposes only

  • Exercise your own judgment when interpreting information or insights

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

You understand that My Edge does not direct, assign, or require actions, and you are solely responsible for how you use information obtained through the Service.

4. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful or harmful purposes

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, extract, or misuse the AI systems or underlying logic

  • Use My Edge as a substitute for professional medical, mental health, or legal services

  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

  • Misrepresent your identity or submit false information

5. Intellectual Property Rights

The My Edge platform, including its software, AI systems, frameworks, methodologies, designs, text, graphics, and underlying intellectual property, is owned by Human Potential Holdings, LLC, or its licensors, and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use My Edge for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you.

6. User-Generated Content

You may submit content through the Service, including journal entries, reflections, check-ins, and other inputs ("User Content").

You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant My Edge and The Antifragile Academy, LLC a limited license to store, process, analyze, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

You are responsible for the content you submit and agree not to upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates the rights of others.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of My Edge is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

SMS/Text Message Communications

If you choose to provide your mobile phone number for SMS notifications, My Edge LLC will send transactional safety alerts and account notifications related to your linked minor athlete's use of the My Edge platform.


Opt-in: You opt in by entering your mobile phone number and checking the SMS consent box inside the My Edge app's Parent Alerts settings. Consent is not a condition of purchase or of using the platform.


Message types: (1) Tier 1 safety alerts when your linked minor athlete's AI coaching content triggers a safety review (self-harm, exploitation, or intent to harm); (2) account events such as new-device sign-in or invite acceptance.


Message frequency: Varies by incident. Typically fewer than one message per safety incident plus periodic account updates. Most parents receive zero to a few messages per month.
Message and data rates may apply.


Opt-out: Reply STOP at any time to any SMS to unsubscribe. You may also toggle SMS off in the My Edge app under Parent Alerts.

Privacy of mobile information: Mobile information (including your phone number and SMS consent record) will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

 

We share mobile information only with subprocessors that help us deliver the SMS itself (e.g., Twilio), and only as required to send the message you opted in to receive.

8. Disclaimers

My Edge is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

​

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We make no warranties regarding accuracy, completeness, or outcomes

  • We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free

  • We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose

​

My Edge does not diagnose conditions, predict outcomes, or guarantee results.

​

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Edge and Human Potential Holdings, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from or related to your use of the Service.

Your use of My Edge is at your own discretion and risk.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the app.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms or misuse the platform.

11. Modifications to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email. Continued use of My Edge after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Human Potential Holdings, LLC is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
